CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective Date: July 20, 2025
- Subscription Cancellation
1.1 Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard. Cancellation requests will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and access to the platform will remain valid until that date.
1.2 Cancellation does not entitle the user to a prorated refund for any unused portion of the subscription, unless otherwise stated in Section 2.
1.3 Wingspan Innovative Technologies reserves the right to cancel a subscription with immediate effect for violations of the Terms and Conditions, abuse of the platform, or payment fraud. No refund will be provided in such cases.
- Refund Conditions
2.1 Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions: (a) Duplicate or erroneous billing initiated by the platform; (b) Complete service outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours with no reasonable alternative provided; (c) Verified unauthorized transactions reported within 48 hours of the charge.
2.2 Refund requests made outside these conditions are not eligible.
- Refund Procedure
3.1 Requests must be emailed to returns@wit.or.tz and must include:
- Full name and registered email.
- Payment reference number.
- Mobile number used for payment.
- Detailed reason for the refund request.
3.2 Wingspan will acknowledge receipt of the request within five (5) working days and process eligible refunds within fourteen (14) working days, subject to verification.
3.3 Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Wingspan is not responsible for delays or errors caused by the mobile payment operator.
- Reversals and Chargebacks
Chargebacks requested by the user may be subject to transaction fees equal to the value of processing costs at the time of reversal. Reversal fees shall not apply where the error was caused by the Platform or its payment processor. Users are required to provide all documentation and cooperation requested within seven (7) calendar days; failure to do so may result in an irreversible chargeback. Where evidence is not furnished, the Platform reserves the right to recover the disputed amount and associated fees. During this process, the user’s account may be temporarily suspended until the matter is resolved. Payment instructions for settlement will be shared accordingly. Refund or chargeback requests initiated by the user may incur transaction recovery costs equivalent to the fees originally applied, unless the cause of the refund is determined to originate from the platform or its authorized payment processor. Where applicable, users shall bear the full cost of any processing or administrative fees arising from reversals they initiate or fail to substantiate within the prescribed timeframes.
